About the Server[]
In the land of Iron Hearts and Star-Lit Skies, one will often hear Mystia, EpicKetchup, or CapBubba mention it as a 'grimdark world' as a joke. This is not completely false however. The ideas and themes behind the world are very gritty, dark, and very much real. While in this world Xenophobia is blown far out of proportion-to the extent of almost reaching comedy-wherein nonhumans are called 'xenos' as an overarching title. Racism and xenophobia are very real issues that strike home at many people today, and that element is what the server wishes to replicate.
The staff believes that if one is putting themselves into this server then that person should be ready and accepting of such heavy themes. This server is, indeed, a hardcore server and the staff expects a degree of dedication to the world that has been prepared, as well as uphold the ideals that go along with it. The theme of xenophobia is one such theme, and thus we ask you treat the theme appropriately.
It should also be known that, while not every detail or origin of the players will be the same (Nor is it wished by the acting administration), but most people will be attracted to coming to the vicinity of Ironvale and The Tether for a few general ideas. They are there because of the sudden and expansive growth of the city of Ironvale, the Tether’s great magic or unique technology attracted those who are curious or hungry for knowledge, or perhaps simply interested in this land filled with opportunity and new people, aiming to find a new place for themselves. There can be many reasons, but the acting administration wishes to avoid having nobles or government/religious members from the outright due to certain roles they will inevitably fill.
